Anti-Dating App Sober Social – BODA x Club Soda

It’s been three glorious years of so much love, community, new besties, laughs, snogs, countless numbers swapped, keys exchanged, friends’ holidays planned and incredible connections have been formed. Whether it’s a romantic relationship or a pal for life, we’re so happy with what’s been happening at BODA.

Our socials have been described as wholesome, recently hailed as this year’s coolest in-person singles event for hopeless romantics by Stylist magazine (which is rather lovely!) and great for single peoples’ mental health, so come for great vibes and brilliant people. 

90% of our attendees rock up solo, so please feel free to come on your own knowing you’ll be in great company, along with our hosts – we totaaally get it when you’re the only single one in your friendship group, so we really encourage people to come on their own and not be held back by having to bring a single friend. 

We’re so excited and privileged to be hosting this social at Club Soda. For people who want to head out but don’t fancy the alcohol-fuelled bar experience. This is going to be super chilled, super mellow and super special. 

What to expect:

Two sessions to choose between:

6.30pm – 8pm 

8.30pm – 10pm

– A room where everyone is single – you must be single to enter in. This is our singles club. A space free from couples, a place just for us to let our hair down and be with like-minded people 

– A non-alcoholic delicious ‘Meet-Cute Mixer’ shot (totally optional, so don’t worry if this isn’t your thing) – only to be redeemed when you do it with someone else you don’t know in the room

– Our community-feel events attract a room full of brilliant people who appreciate slower, healthier, kinder approach to dating over the fast and furious modern dating climate singles are up against

– We are an anti-ghosting community, so kindly asks that no-one ghosts after the event – we’re hungry to make the modern dating climate a healthier and kinder place to be, so please respect our boundary 

– Respect is super high on the agenda at BODA, so anyone not demonstrating respect towards attendees & hosts will be asked to leave. We absolutely need more love and respect in dating 

Essential need-to-know bits:

– EVERYONE IS WELCOME, whatever your sexuality or gender

– We cannot control the level of ratios on the night (men to women, women to women, men to men etc), so please do bear this in mind when booking a ticket. We do however try very hard to get a great, wide mix of ages, genders and sexualities, as we want everyone to have a fantastic night
